Join the first virtual Danish-American project development team and be part of unique experience destined to make a difference

Record breaking 8 time Le Mans winner and former Danish sportsman of the year Tom Kristensen will participate in Petit Le Mans on Road Atlanta, October 2-3, 2010. BørneprojektDenmark, DABGO, Trade Council of Denmark and Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador Corps is utilizing the Petit Le Mans race to build a charity event with Tom Kristensen and Atlanta’s local legendary NFL kicker Morten Andersen to raise awareness for children with diseases.

We can make this the Danish-American event of the year, but need your help to create an unprecedented success. We are looking for dedicated individuals with expertise within key project deliverables, who want to be part of a virtual Danish-American Project Development Team and dedicate a minimum of 40 pro bono hours from today to early October 2010. As part of our team you will build close relations to a great network within leading Danish-American business organizations, be exposed to the Danish-American community as Ambassador of the event and secure your own direct access to all project events.

We are looking for:            

• Project Director: Manage the team of pro bono serving officers, implement milestones and secure that project deliverables are met
• Online Manager: Be in charge of our online promotional campaign incl. partner web links, newsletters and blogs
• Graphic Designer: All graphic brochures and fliers for online and print will be completed with your creative touch
• Head of PR: Facilitate media partnerships and distribute press releases to Danish and local American media
• Sponsorship Director: Secure funding from Danish and American partners of USD 30.000 working with  2 Sponsorship Managers
• Sponsorship Manager x2: You will work with the Sponsorship Director to reach the sponsorship goals             
• Event Manager: Manage the coordination of all event execution incl. liaison with hotel, catering, transport and travel agency
• Event Supervisor x 2: Report to the Event Manager during the event and be in charge of guest handling and ad.hoc event duties
• Administrative Officer: In charge of event RSVP and payments as well as monthly status reports with update from all business areas
